Fujifilm’s Scene Recognition Auto (SR AUTO) technology makes it easy to take good pictures. It intelligently detects a scene without the need to pre-select a mode on the camera. Having identified the most commonly photographed subjects, Fujifilm has developed technology to automatically recognise different scenes; Portrait, Backlit Portrait, Night Portrait, Landscape, Night and Macro. Just point at the scene and let the camera adjust the settings to optimise the results. Easy!

Portrait

Detects the faces quickly in the frame and optimises focus, brightness and white balance.

 

Landscape

Scenic shots such as mountains and buildings are automatically recognised. Colours of the sky, forests, and flower fields are captured in vivid colors and depth.

Night

For low-light and night-time shots, shutter speed and sensitivity are automatically adjusted, producing blur-free pictures with minimal noise.

Macro

When your subject is very close to the camera, it adjusts the settings automatically to produce high-resolution, blue-free shots.

Night Portrait

Perfect People Pictures

Using Fujifilm's highly effective Face Detection technology, the FinePix Z35 can cleverly detect faces in a picture and adjusts focus and exposure to reveal flawless and flattering portraits of you and your friends. Automatic red-eye removal goes one step further and banishes and evil red-eye from faces, while the photo is being taken.
